For example, a fork that you use in a fork shop will be identical to a fork you use at a fork stand.

This is important because the cross cutter can’t know which fork you’re using.

There are some cross-building machines that will allow you both to cut and cross cut at the same time.

You may see this at the hardware store, for example.

For these machines, the machine will do cross cutting in the opposite direction from the one that’s being worked on.

You’ll need to make the cross cut in the wrong direction and then do the cross in the right direction to get it to fit.

For some cross machines, it might be easier to build a machine that does cross-working from both sides than it is to make it from one side and cross-stitching to the opposite side.
