How to use an industrial machine tool to cut metal with a carbide tool

Using a carbine tool is easy to do, but a carbie is much harder.

The reason is that you have to use a carbite rod, a special type of tool with a very low melting point that is used for making cutting edges.

You can get the same cut edge with a standard blade, but you will need to use the carbite tool to get the edges through the carbide.
